Former San Diego Padres player and recent National Baseball Hall of Fame inductee, Tony Gwynn, has joined forces with The Guardian Life Insurance Company to help promote life insurance awareness month. Mr. Gwynn had the following to say about his personal experience with life insurance:
"After losing my father prematurely, I learned that life can throw you a curveball both on and off the field. I was already established in my career when my father passed, but nonetheless he had life insurance. But it isn't just star athletes and their families that need to protect their income.
