Another Life Insurance Awareness Month is in the books. September 30th marked the official end of the annual event, sponsored by the Life and Health Insurance Foundation (LIFE) and supported throughout the life insurance industry. As they have each year since the inception of this event, the U.S. Senate and House ofRepresentatives both passed resolutions recognizing September as Life Insurance Awareness Month. Senator Ben Nelson (D-NE) helped introduce the legislation to the Senate and had the following to say."This legislation will help raise awareness of the importance of life insurance.
